I'm as big as anyone on suspension of disbelief, but it does bother me a little that Street has fallen off the face.

 

Wasn't the guy who recruited Smash to go TMU played by Rick Barnes, the head basketball coach at Texas?

 

That is correct.

 

Tell me if I am wrong but a big reason I believe that Street has not been on to much this season is because I believe he had a leading role in that remake of that car racing tv show Canon Ball or Speed Racer or something similar.

Emile Hirsch (Into The Wild) is Speed Racer. Our boy Street plays Rex Racer.

 

Isn't Rex Racer's AKA Racer X?

I hope this movie doesn't suck.

I just hope there is never another reference to Landry killing the guy and the mexican dude living with the car dealer dude, unless it's a subplot where both are killed by a car bomb...

 

I don't mind that Streeter has been absent this year. His story sort of came to its logical conclusion, didn't it? There isn't much room for the character's growth if he stays in Dillon.

 

I hate to say it, but it would make for one hell of a storyline if he had complications... It's probably the most realistic scenario...

 

Except they're all a bunch of self-center, pompous high schoolers who'd never go see him because they're too busy bangin' some older person on the show.
