I thought "Shalom!" was the best line of many.

I really liked the last scene with Smash. Thought it was one of the best closers in FNL's short history. Not sure I buy that Texas would abandon Smash for "character issues" because of a minor assault, but maybe.

Love the little details though like the fact that the players touched the "P" before going out on the field, and underneath it, in black sharpie, someone had written J.Street.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that this week's ep (Feb 8) is that last one in the can. Hope the writer's strike is settled soon.

No, no. He named her "Brooke Langdon living next door"

Just think if you had done that, ralph.

Then she'd be "Brooke Langdon living next door wiggum."

    Three Stars:

    1) Saracen, Landry and Smash at the lunch table. Saracen picks up his stuff and leaves, leaving Smash to Landry. They talk about Saracen for a second, then Landry asks which movie to watch with geek. Smash just walks away. Hilarious.

    2) Shalom.

    3) The entire ending sequence was one of the most vivid, well-shot, well-directed scenes I've ever scene TV or movie. The fact that Taylor just let Smash speak, and it cuts away from that to have them all exit before slowly pgoing back into the locker room with Smash was stunning.

Good plot lines: Every single one for this episode.

What I want to see: More Buddy and more Landry, my two favorite characters on the show.

    And, for the threadjack...

    1) Lyla - She is some KIND of nasty. Damn, that innocent look is sexy.
    2) Tami Taylor - yup.
    3) The Riggins' brothers former love interest - Oh won't you be ... my neighbor
    4) Julie - She might be No. 1 now that I think about it.

    Damn, Julie. Damn.
