Friday Night Lights, Season 2

Another Save FNL campaign is urging fans to send "Clear Eyes" eye drops to NBC. I guess whatever is cheaper and easier to ship.

 

The girl or lady that is supposed to be pregnant is the waitress that saved Street from that Crazy date he had back a few episodes ago. I guess they had sex and bomb Street may be a daddy.

 

That bugged me a lot, too. I'd buy that girl for 35 sooner than I'd buy her for 19.

 

Another cross-character that I have trouble wrapping my head around is Rory Gilmore's former fiance playing good-Christian-boy.

 

I'd love to say I don't know what you're talking about here, but it is weird seing Logan as a do-gooder christian. [/turning in my man card]

 

Ex-Logan's haircut looks like he pulled it straight off a Devo album cover. And spray painted a different color, of course.

 

Just saw Bull Durham again and Riggins from FNL is practically stealing Costner's demeanor from that movie.

Anyone else see the comparison?

 

Aimee Teegarden, who plays Julie, seems to be a very nice, personable, humble young lady. I came across her myspace one night and added her as a friend. She posted a bulletin titled "Please watch Friday Night Lights tonight" last Friday. Basically, it was her asking people to tell (text, call, e-mail) others to watch the season finale.

I messaged her after reading it, telling her how much of a fan I am of her acting and the show in general and hoping it gets a third season. A few days later, she messaged back thanking me for the compliments and saying how blessed she is to work on the show with such talented actors like Kyle (Chandler) and Connie Britton. It was also my birthday a few days before, so she wrote a cool happy birthday message on my wall as well.

Sadly, she has pictures of her boyfriend on her myspace. Something about those sexy eyes...
