    I think I'd rather go suddenly than linger for six years like my mom did with dementia. Home care and memory care basically ate up every bit of her life savings at the end.

    Suddenly is the way to go. My dad always knew who I was, but it was heartbreaking to see an Amherst College graduate/poet/teacher/linguist struggle for words in the last five years of his life.

    Kudos for those who named the Grant Wahl Press Box. Fox News and OANN all be in a tizzy over it, but it's a great thing.
