Romney was coached to show contemptuousness. With him, that sort of affectation just makes him look like a bigger boob than he already is.

Well, sez you. I think you're a boob for not showing more respect to a former governor.

    I think you're a lackwit and a sheer partisan.

And I'll make note to be even more disrespectful toward "a former governor" in the future.

Gee, that sounds like contemptuousness. :)

Barack Obama moves to shore up the Hispanic vote:

Hmmmmm ... giving the wife of the Univision owner a key diplomatic post despite the fact that she has never had a job involving international relations, diplomacy, etc.? I can only imagine the cushy coverage that the President will receive on that network.

I try not to be. I probably moved a click or two to the right after I was out of work for several months.

You seem desperately beholden to whatever scarecrow on a stick the Republican Party nominates. At the least, that doesn't show much intellectual courage.

So you claim I'm not showing "intellectual courage" by voting for the candidate of my choice. I thought that was my right. I think I read that somewhere.
You call one of the candidates a boob, but you say you try not to be partisan.
Sounds like you're the one with intellectual honesty problems. But by all means, if it makes you feel better to belittle people who have the audacity to not share your opinions, knock yourself out. Just don't pretend to stand on some "intellectual" high ground.

Yes, I recall all of the respect you have shown for former Gov. Bill Clinton.

How is it a "key diplomatic post" if Susan Rice is still the ambassador?

You know hondo and the high, high level of importance he attaches to all things involving the United Nations.

She's no doubt being sent there to take away our guns and destroy at long last all evidence of Barack Obama's Soviet birth certificate and Somali pirates' license.
