Found that 14 percent interest is too high thing rather interesting. Methinks if the government told banks they couldn't charge any higher than 14 percent for credit card debt, then the banks would be screaming bloody murder.

This thread reminds me of TV before cable. Solid programing during the day and early evening, after midnight nothing but test signals and infomercials.

As a little kid, a few times I'd wake up before anyone in my house and turn on the TV, only to see the test signal, then the flag for the national anthem. Always thought, in my little kid mind, how funny it was that the TV station would start playing the baseball song before starting its shows.
