    i disagree. i see people on facebook who never, ever were interested in politics and they suddenly are now.
    attempt to pin them down for reasons why they absolutely hate our president, and they have no logical retort.
    honestly norrin, you didn't think race would come into play with our first black president?

    Absolutely. President Obama's race is an opportunity for some to support him, for some to hate him, and for some to say "You ONLY like/hate him because of his RACE!!!!!"

    Just hate when all dislike of Obama is pinned on racism. Sometimes people are just partisan a-holes.

    I haven't seen people get more interested. Some people I know are more angry, while others are less angry. Mostly a reversal from the previous eight years.

    Obama names white men to head State, Defense, CIA, and Treasury.

    But, he names Beyonce to sing the National Anthem at his Inauguration, so it's all good.

    Yeah, he should have at least nominated someone like Susan Rice. That would have been a great choice but some old white guys in the Senate put a stop to that on bullshit grounds. So what's your point? Are you suggesting the president should have an affirmative action program for the cabinet? I figured you of all people would want him to choose the best available people, regardless of race or gender.
