Hey, remember when every time someone criticized Bush, people screamed "RACISM!!!!!!!!"?

    That was cool.

Remember the t-shirts and bumper stickers from 2004 with "Don't Renig" on them?

    That was pretty cool.

    Wow, seriously?

    Hadn't heard of those.

    That's pretty bad.

A vast majority of conservatives are not racist.

On both sides, there are plenty of people who like to scream until their blue. Federalists and Democratic-Republicans would likely think today's partisans are a bunch of pussies. Pretty sure Republicans and Democrats from the late 1850s would say the same thing.

Donald Trump said he may sue Bill Maher.

I thought conservatives didn't like frivolous lawsuits.

Why didn't Congress fight to extend the temporary payroll tax cut?

OBAMA: Four years ago, when I stood on this stage, I said that I would cut taxes for middle-class families. And that's exactly what I did. We cut taxes for middle-class families by about $3,600. And the reason is, because I believe that we do best when the middle class is doing well. And by giving them those tax cuts, they had a little more money in their pocket, and so maybe they can buy a new car. They are certainly in a better position to weather the extraordinary recession that we went through. They can buy a computer for their kid who's going off to college, which means they're spending more money, businesses have more customers, businesses make more profits, and then hire more workers.

"We were not going to allow Democrats to continue to play games and cause a tax increase for hardworking Americans," Boehner told reporters on Capitol Hill. "We made a decision to bring them to the table so that the games would stop and we would get this worked out."

Yes, every time a black person wins something we can just bitch about the taxes and what it would cost.

    Nice precedent.

Because as much as we'd like to believe the 1% can solve everything by paying more, putting a dent in a trillion-dollar deficit pretty much requires 100% cooperation.

No spending cuts and no extra revenue except on those making in excess of $450,000 would solve . . . what with regard to the deficit?
