I learned to drive (primarily) on a 1948 Willys CJ2A. I was about 5-10 then and weighed something like 155 lbs. At my current height/weight, I can barely get in the damn thing (seats aren't adjustable). No seat belt. No roll bar (the windshield was it, unless it had been folded down). Hell, no seat in the back (my sister and I would sit on the fender wells as kids). Talk about dangerous!

Wondering if the House GOP children will think it's a good idea to put the country's credit rating on the line again by trying to leverage the debt ceiling.

I do not want any old girlfriends back but I do want my old CJ 7. First car I ever bought that got better with age.

It is easy to remember when the debt ceiling was raised routinely without policy concessions because it happened many times prior to 2011.

It wasn't routinely passed. Cokie Roberts mentioned debt ceiling votes a few days ago on NPR.
