    Krugman's one real contribution to the truth and to journalism was when his constant mis-statements forced the New York Times -- for the first time ever -- to adopt a correction policy for op-ed columnists in 2004.

    Krugman's right ... which is why he wrote that markets can't "cure" healthcare. You're interpreting that as saying that markets can't bring anything to the table in health care, which is absolutely not what he's arguing. Your argument is analogous to saying that since antibiotics aren't universally effective in curing infections, they shouldn't be considered as a treatment for an infection.
