Ugh. I'll take Poor Analogies for $300, Alex.

I made no argument at all.

I posted a link from Krugman - using the NYT hed - which contains a link to Arrow in response to the run of "Econ 101" / "free market" posts preceding this.

    Not you AZ, U.R.

And, U.R., you probably should start smaller, champ. Maybe "Analogies I Can't Handle" for $50.

Hmmm ... you're awfully condescending for a sock puppet.

I'm beginning to doubt he's related to Friedrich Hayek.

Decided to kill a few minutes by reading through this:

The horrible predictions by both sides was AWESOME.

This post, from Guy_Incognito, might have been my favorite:

"If it's true, I love the pick, as I said here a few days ago that I would. This is no gimmick. SHe's right on all the issues, and was the best of a bunch of flawed candidates. I'd have been fine with Romney, but I think this is the better pick. If I were confident, and just needed to not blow it, go Romney, but I think he's behind and needed a jolt, which she will give him. Her biggest negative is her lack of experienced, which is completely neutralized with Obama at the TOP of the other ticket. For the 2nd time in 2 days (and in 12 months), I'm impressed by the McCain camp. Maybe he has a shot afterall."

FWIW, the quickest Derm appointment I could find in my new city was 3 months away.

You keep using that phrase. I do not think it means what you think it means.

No, it means exactly what I think it means. You're using a fake handle to post on politics, despite having a separate anonymous handle.

I thought sock puppetry involved fakery w.r.t. attitudes, opinions, tone, etc. If not, I'll have to cop to being a sock puppet.
