I'm done with this, small man.

Is a national sales tax fair to a liberty-loving people?
    Is it good economics?

    Just stop it.

No one cares about anything you have to say. Individuals who know how to entertain and insult using the written word are speaking here.

I know you like to attempt to wade in and participate despite your complete lack of game, but you should instead consider staying quiet and taking notes.

    One more for the dumper.
The Atlantic looks at the trend towards a more privatized, at-home care.

I still don't know how anyone could be threatened by a good-faith, if fatally hamstrung, movement to improve health care.
I say that as someone who does not care for the president or many of his Good Ship Lollipop adherents here.

Don't interrupt their trip to the candy shop please. The sugar has made them forget about those SS deductions from their paychecks.

They will shit alphabet blocks when they see those deductions.
Rather, when the full implications of those deductions start to hit home.

The income tax is still better and more efficient than a national sales tax would ever be. Or I'm just supposed to believe you won't see black markets exploding with stolen goods being re-sold elsewhere? It'd make the dock workers from season 2 of The Wire look like your basic department store managers.

And fuck, Lindsey Graham again? I count myself a fan of neither Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, or Eric Cantor. But Graham may be more insufferable than all three of those blowhards combined.

Of course, the rich, who stash their money in the Caymans, want to shift ALL (ALL) of the tax burden on the poor, who spend all their money on ramen noodles.

    Of course.

If personal savings are to replace benefit entitlements, you have to coerce people to save.

you can't save if everyday living expenses burn up most of your income.

Of course for the rich, especially the inherited rich, this is no problem.

The next intelligent comment from you I read on a subject other than comic books will be the first, so you'll pardon me if I don't take your opinion to heart.

You don't like the pissing match? Take it up with the troll.
