So, let me see if I got this straight? You're an American citizen. You join a movement dedicated to the overthrow of the American government. You then move to a country that hosts the movement dedicated to destroying the American government. It is also a country where the American military is actively working to destroy the movement dedicated to wiping America off the map, and you know all this. And you move anyway.

I'm supposed to be outraged that American military forces did their jobs and killed the guy?

Okay, I just want to process all this because I'm not outraged.

 

Pat Tillman was an authentic tragedy.
And others who died by friendly fire.

 

I don't disagree but it is funny how the same liberal trash that screamed we had to treat John Walker Lindh with kid gloves have no problem with this "President" blowing Americans up left and right.

Can't put my finger on why their attitude has changed...

 

I'm not bothered by it in the least, either. But Obama certainly would have been bothered by it had it happened before Nov. 2008.

 

In all seriousness, I share your sentiments. But, like some others here, I am fairly certain that a very slight twist -- say, a Republican rather than a Democratic President -- would have meant that this was awful, just awful.

 

Much like Republicans who are very, very concerned about liberty since Jan. 2009.

 

Yeah, I know a few of those liberty-come-latelies ...

 

I find it of some note that a progressive electronic rag such as Mother Jones finally gave the president even some trace of the stink-eye.

 

I suppose they could have just surrendered to the local police.
