How is this a good answer?

Did we seek a FISA warrant so we could monitor Tsarnaev? If not, why not?

Given the Russian warning, his travel, his YouTube page, his internet traffic (visiting Inspire magazine's site), his communications with known terrorists abroad, and his troubles at/with the local Mosque, how ere red flags not raised?

As for Maj. Hassan, his communication with Anwar al-Awlaki should have been enough to open an investigation, but we didn't even need that. His own words and actions in the company of his fellow soldiers should have earned him an investigation. Instead, he was promoted and transferred, because no one wanted to deal with him, and be accused of being anti-Islam.

 

Oh, and Tsarnaev was on the FBI's radar twice, even before the warning from Russia:

Is anybody saying he should not have been watched earlier despite all these things?
