(Seriously, we probably have quite a bit of common ground. Instead of all the trolling on here, we should try to find those islands of common ground and build on them.)

 

This country needs a viable third party based on common ground, with an inspirational and effective leader like John Belushi.

This thread is not unmoderated. The recent temporary lock on it should have reminded you of that. The mods just give a lot more slack than they do everywhere else.

 

If we could post pics on this thread I'd have the Animal House "let's do it" one lined up.

 

It was locked because posters were using it as a Fight Club and not a place where Fight Club was incidental to discussing politics.
I care not about what sort of "reputation" it has on this board.
It's a place to spout off and blow off steam.
It has close to half a mil page views in nine months so some folks must like it.
Good for business.
All this said, you had three or four fuckwads (I can name them if wish - they are the same parasites who create problems throughout the site) repeatedly breaking outing rules.
That went on unchecked for months.
Assholes bringing up aspects of our real lives, etc.
I above all respect what these mods have to put up with from us.
I don't respect a jerk who doesn't have moderator powers and still starts ordering posters around. Fuck that guy.
