I've always found it weird that these people never complain about (St.) Valentine's Day...

    So what exactly is us?

Because I have a feeling what you think is us that is something that you just happen to be in favor of. And there have been plenty of things that were once considered us at one point that are now considered antiquated at best, and just flat out wrong now.

Nice title. So Kwanzaa and Hanukkah* aren't happy holidays? Way to dismiss part of the population, Sarah,

    * I realize in the strictest sense, Hanukkah isn't supposed to be the happiest holiday in the Jewish religion.

Have you seen much of the country? Talked with many of its people?
Or do you just sit on your fat ass and spend 16 hours here a day like Long-Term Dipshit and pretend you have real-world sensibility?

If Obama were any kind of a competent leader that's what he would have gone after. He failed and, instead, we have a terrible law that requires people who cannot afford to spend money to do just that. And he's being hailed as some kind of hero of the poor.

Not sure what is worse, the fact that Obama wanted single-payer and wasn't man enough to stick to his convictions, or the people still defending this piece of crap law who think it is actually going to help anyone. Wonder why, with full implementation right around the corner, the Democrats are trying to move as far away from Obamacare as they can.

what would have been even better than single payer is a magic wand that cured everybody of every disease and kept everyone healthy for life.

    just as likely.

Ahhh...so doing something just to do it, even if it is unpopular and has been proven to raise health insurance costs, was a better move. I get it.

So you are saying that a "magic want that cured everybody of every disease and kept everyone healthy for life" or the bill that ended up being the Affordable Care Act were the only two options?

Your arguments have the intellectual depth of a toothache. Stick to your short, snarky posts...they don't waste as much space.

apologies. i'll try to stick to the more fact-based, intellectually robust arguments that define this thread.

The "War on Christmas" is just a silly distraction from the important work of the right-wingers: like birtherism, voting to repeal Obamacare again and again, voting to defund the non-existing ACORN, gutting SNAP.....
