As long as we know the excuse reason for such a small crowd where, not long ago, your messiah drew 10x the amount

    But his statement is correct.

Hasn't this record been broken every year going back to at least 2006? Not that they don't deserve to. I mean, the legislature as a whole becomes weaker and more irresponsible and incapable by the day. They deserve all the scorn they get and then some. The sad thing is, in their bubble, they still think of themselves as prestigious and elite. It's pretty fucking pathetic.

No, no it's not. Google all you want ... that is absolutely not the core idea of conservatism.

Well, until the incumbents stop winning at a 95% rate, they might just continue to laugh in our faces.

Are you serious with this shitty piece of logic, not to mention ahistorical mush?
I have new moderators here to charm so I am not going to condemn you as vociferously for this response as impulse had originally compelled me to do.
As the patron saint of the Politics Board once said - do better.

To me it's about how they vote.
What policies they would implement given the opportunity.
Which appointments would they make or ratify.
It's not about personalities, how much money they have, how they fill out a bracket or oratorical skill.
Are you for smaller, less invasive government, or aren't you?
Do you support a foreign policy that benefits the country and the greater good of the world, or not?
Do policies ultimately offer opportunity for self-advancement or long-term dependence on handouts?
This recent body and president cannot satisfactorily even answer one of these questions.
He and they fail on all fronts.

To the likes of Paul Ryan, yes it is.

Sheesus ... to the likes of some 'round these parts, a pitcher's win-loss record is how his contribution to his team should be evaluated. Therefore, a core idea of SportsJournalists.com is that the best way to evaluate pitchers is by their win-loss records.

Come on Tarheel ... you're better than this.

And, by the way ... there's not a politician out there for which it's an either/or proposition. You might, might be able to spin some of Ryan's proposals as "You're more on your own," but that is a ridiculously far cry from "It's every man for himself." Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous.

Look throughout history. Workplace safety rules. Child labor. Safe food laws. All of which were passed despite conservatives' objections. Conservatives who argued that it wasn't government's role to get involved in how workers were treated, or if the food you bought was safe.
