Maybe $70,000 isn't more than some of you make but it's a damn good income. I wasn't trying to tie it to CEO salaries.
But it is a waste of money (taxpayers) if it doesn't lift Mrs. Welfare Queen out of that cycle and into a path toward a college degree and employment and allows them to subsist so they have to report to a social worker, who documents why they are still in that situation and draws their salary for that. What's the end result? A never-ending cycle.

Much like Republicans who simply shrugged when President Bush did it. But, as someone has said, we aren't to talk about the past.

A lot of those $70K social workers also have Master's Degrees.

I get "not found" when I click on it.

Interesting definition of social worker. Apparently, they all work in the welfare office. And they apparently all work for the government, too, even though a ton of them work for non-profits.

At any rate, you're much harder on people than I think a self-professed Christian should be.

Figures you'd have no stomach for a comedian who is willing to slam people both Democrats and Republicans. (Yes, he leans Liberal, but he is more than happy to go after Obama and other Democrats, too).

The first job of a comedian is to be funny. Maher has let bitterness take him over. He hasn't been funny in forever. If he wants to be a network news commentator, I'm sure MSNBC would open up a slot for him.

not saying it will happen, but a friday afternoon is when the white house would try a news dump on obama resigning.

just be prepared is what i'm saying.
