It's very obvious who you are, puppet.
    You aren't fooling anyone.

No. More Putin. He's such a stud. Not a wimp. In fact, he's so not wimpy, that he's enthusiastically for gun control.

    http://www.examiner.com/article/putin-agrees-with-anti-gun-u-s-monopoly-of-violence-promoters

Here's his protege, Dmitri Medvedev, on the matter:

""The rules that exist in the United States are absolutely unacceptable for Russia or even for the United States itself. Although they are proud of some well-known constitutional amendments -- this happens -- it is horrible and impossible to justify."

Russia murder rate much higher than the US, but Putin simply doesn't want an armed Russia, in part because, well, what might an armed Russia think of doing with a guy like Putin?

But you keep touting your man. Tough guy. Man of the people. Really believes in the future of his nation.

Is this your admission that you were so intent on posting a snarky reply to my earlier post that you did not read it closely enough, and instead helped me make my point?

Your act is thin. Manky Jimy has a more robust act. He has his Derek Jeter schtick, and a secondary storyline involving Jon Saraceno, and his glorious beard.

It should be pointed out that my post was directly related to Alma's, which pointed out Obama had called two things that directly conflict with one another.

Wow, your view of those who disagree with you politically is skewed.

No question, he was probably more celebrity than politician and extremely popular, but to say all Liberals were talking about him like that? Come on, Ben. You know better. Or at least you should.

Most of the people I know who voted for him had a healthy level of skepticism. By the time he was re-elected, plenty of Liberals I spoke to were disappointed because they were ready to listen if the Republicans would have given them a viable option.

YankeeFan is particularly clueless on this matter, which is usually what happens when you try to lump all of one political group together as if they all feel the same way.

Nothing is 100-percent. I am not trying to say "all liberals" looked at him this way, but a majority of them did. He was going to lower the sea levels and increase our standing in the world. He ran as the anti-Bush and was embraced with a passion because of it. Yet he has failed to live up to any of this.

Here is the problem as I see it...people who fell for Obama's rhetoric are now trying to save face. The last thing they want to admit is that they were sold a bill of goods about a presidential candidate that was all bluster and no truth. It's hard to admit you were caught up in a movement (which is what Obama's campaign was) and pretty embarrassing to acknowledge you suspended your ability to critically think. That's what happened...people heard a cool speech in 2004, bought in during the primaries in 2007 and stopped critically thinking. As a result they refuse to accept the obvious truth...that Barack Obama has continued most of the Bush policies they were fervently against, all while violating our civil liberties to a scale never before seen. Those not heavily invested in Barack Obama, the politician, see the obvious truth most liberals and Obama supporters I know refuse to accept.

exactly. why people would vote for somebody who they though was going to improve things is beyond me

and take away health care and wall street reform, and the coming immigration reform, and obama hasn't accomplished any large-scale changes that would please liberals.

    U mad bro?
You really don't respect Mr. Putin, do you?
What is it, the top of the line Grade A Russian beef he pulls?
(Which anyone with a brain can see finally ended his marriage last week.)
You ever walk the streets of Moscow, Spinoza?
You've never seen so many beautiful women in your life.
Lot of cows, too. But they don't leave such a lasting impression.

YankeeFan was the one saying, incorrectly, that it was all Liberals. I pointed out how full of shit he is and then you jumped in.

I don't think it was even most. I think there were some Liberals who has insanely high expectations. The rest simply felt he was the better option. And some would have voted for anybody the Democrats put up there just to get the White House away from the Republicans after the mess George W. Bush made of things.

According to a Chinese newspaper, Edward Snowden took his job at Booz Allen specifically to gather intelligence against the NSA.

    http://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/article/1268209/exclusive-snowden-sought-booz-allen-job-gather-evidence-nsa

“My position with Booz Allen Hamilton granted me access to lists of machines all over the world the NSA hacked,” he told the Post on June 12. “That is why I accepted that position about three months ago.”.

I know the SJ right has already turned on him - Fart seems to have deleted all of his praise - but this really puts him in a bad light. I imagine that once he lands in his safe haven, we'll get one more admission from him: that he coordinated with a foreign government, either before or during his employment.
