The Republicans are claiming a vote was taken before midnight passing the bill. The Democrats are saying the vote didn't start before the deadline.

 

Trying to scream over votes is going to be the new cool thing to do in politics. I feel sorry for people covering city council meetings in the near future.

I was watching the Texas Tribune's live stream. When midnight hit, there was no vote happening.
