    Oh, I don't agree with this.

    The conservatives on this board blame the liberals, I suppose. But there's a reason why guys like Nixon -- rather easily the most intelligent Republican president since, fuck, Lincoln -- don't get anywhere near the presidential nomination today. Money, corporate folks don't want that. The defense industry doesn't want that. Nixon, unethical mongrel as he might have been, knew where to tell those folks to go, he often did, and he had a mind of his own.

    Do they use Nixon's theory of how to win elections? Of course. But the Nixonian persona of today -- Karl Rove -- is the strategist, not the president.

    Well aren't you clever?

    Hobby Lobby is not only privately held, it's closely held. It's really just a big-ass family business. I'd bet folding money the folks who own this company and are behind this lawsuit don't have an abortion- and birth-control friendly insurance plan just for themselves. But maybe we should check with their administration ...
