The protesters are armed with lasers, which they're aiming at helicopter pilots trying to get them to leave. They're also aiming them at news cameras.

 

See, Bodie doesn't really think things through. He just responds by instinct. He's intellectually lazy. He tries to fall on the politically correct and "tolerant" side of the fence.

Baron, on a subject like baseball, can exhibit some degree of intellect. But, on political matters, he's already reached his conclusion before he starts his research.

But Devil, he actually thinks things through. He puts some thought into his posts. And, on topics ranging from baseball, to politics, to the killing of a referee, he consistently reaches conclusions that defy all logic.
