    It's an interesting proposal. Even with the divisions in Congress and how most of them no longer have real working relationships across the aisle, I think this would just deepen the divide. I think Congress needs to spend more time together, not more time apart.

    Nineteen firefighters (at least) killed in the wildfires.
    And all three of the "24-hour news networks" are running their canned programming.
    Further evidence of the prevailing attitude, "If it didn't happen on the East Coast (and New York and Boston, in particular), it didn't happen at all."

    I gotta go with 3 on this. Getting deals for your constituents does not happen on Skype. It happens face to face.
