The two or three of us who'd actually like to talk politics.

That's sort of what I was hoping to imply. Let's make it less about some posters not so cleverly disguised desire to turn the thread into how great they are, and more about the actual discussion of politics.

Jeb Bush writes an op-ed saying the GOP shouldn't stymie immigration reform.

I don't think it matters one way or another. The thread has imploded on it's own.

A good example of what happens with govt regulation vs free market.

For what it's worth, I think the board is better off with this thread than without it as long as posters are reminded to keep most of the political stuff here.

A handful of people destroy the NFL and MLB threads -every- season, and there is no call to shut them down.

I do not think anyone is against "immigration reform." However, this is just like the Obamacare debate...the left points out how people are all in favor of "immigration reform," yet refuses to point out how not many people are in favor of the specific "immigration reform" they are trying to jam through Congress.

They try to paint everyone that is against this horrible bill that passed Congress as somehow "anti-hispanic." That is not only incorrect, it is shameful. I expect nothing less from this current crop of Democrats.

And the 14 Republican senators who voted for this immigration bill? What's their problem? Are they RINOs or just idiots?
