Based on their actions in pursuit of their goal -- to wit, forming and financing the "grass roots" Tea Party with all its transferred race-baiting from the birthers -- those phrases are not much different.

Well, he wants to get in there and tell New Jerseyites that FEMA should be scrapped and adding to the debt to help them get back on their feet would be immoral.

Disaster recovery is best left to the private sector.

    http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2012/10/mitt-romney-in-2011-we-cannot-afford-federal-disaster-relief/264206/

Queried directly on the topic by CNN's John King during the June 13, 2011 Republican presidential primary debate at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire, Romney said the federal government "cannot afford to do those things without jeopardizing the future for our kids."

Of course Mitt realizes that if it were left up to states, many would go bankrupt having to deal with multiple disasters, i.e. Florida. Also, how are states able to coordinate responses across multiple agencies?

Can't wait to see the President walking about West Philly after the storm, handing out free phones and $20 bills to remind his base to vote.

Very contrived situation down in AC. Christie has had running feud with coincidentally black Democrat mayor for a while, meddling in local affairs it appears to me. Today he goes on television to admonish the mayor because a lot of folks decided to ignore the governor and stay in AC, fear of looters among the reasons cited. (We'll see how this actually plays out.) His pal, Gov. Daniels is sending in some ambulances. And, oh yeah, Gov. Romney is planning a "concern" visit tomorrow.

You need to incorporate some news outlets that aren't race-baiting cliche masters.

Was the mayor supposed to force people out at gunpoint?

And should a true conservative be against intrusive nanny state government mandates like evacuation orders? Free will! Individualism!

Shouldn't a true liberal be concerned about people's safety?
