We cannot afford to spend money on disaster relief because we need the money for more tax cuts for The Job Creators.

That's ridiculous. The president has people who have people who have people who do that.

If you want to piss off a conservative, tell a lie; if you want to piss off a liberal, tell the truth.

Not at all. Obama's going to win. That doesn't mean I'm not going to point out cocksuckery when I see it. And exmediahack is a sexist, racist cocksucker.

The effects of the storm are spreading into the Midwest, including Indiana, and the stupid bitch-weasel Daniels is sending ambulances off to Jersey as a special present to his fatass buddy boy?

Doesn't sound like a very efficient use of public funds, but then again the stupid fucker was the budget director in the Bush White House.

Do you want to compare who did a better job during Katrina?

I'll take WalMart, charities, and the Red Cross over the Louisiana Governor's office, the New Orleans Mayor's office, or the New Orleans Police Department.

The only government agencies that did a good job was the Coast Guard and the military.

You mean you approve of the response at the federal level but not at the state/local level? You should tell Mitt Romney that. Maybe he won't want to do away with the federal response.

Oh, and also ... "Red Cross Katrina scandal" is a hella popular Google search. They did a great job of hurting their own future fund-raising causes by their ineptitude and theft. I grabbed this one because it's the first that came up, but it's from 2007 after they had supposedly overhauled the group.

NEW YORK - Plagued by turmoil at the top, the American Red Cross ousted its president, Mark Everson, on Tuesday for engaging in a "personal relationship" with one of his subordinates. He took the challenging job only six months ago.

The congressionally chartered charity, America's foremost emergency responder, has now had five leaders in the past six years, including the interim chief named to fill in for Everson.

, a former corporate executive and IRS commissioner, assumed the Red Cross post May 29 as the charity sought to restructure itself and bolster its image following criticism of its response to Hurricane Katrina.

You disappoint me, YF. People like old_tony and exmediahack are backward, racist idiots. It's easy enough to dismiss them. You're a smart guy who could see past a lot of this stuff if you didn't keep the blood loyalty oath.

Not any less than Drip calling Romney a piece of shit for a planned trip to Jersey.

And Cranberry, I'm sorry but I think Christie showed some real leadership by hanging the blame on the AC mayor. You want to diss the governor's emergency plan for the state and endanger emergency workers at the last hour? Go right ahead then play with yourself because it's on your head...so sayeth the only leader with balls in Jersey. ...who allowed the AC folk that obeyed their liberal mayor the freedom to decide what to do with their own bodies.
