Well, a grossly morbidly obese guy like Christie continually pounding policies of gimme-gimme-gimme everything-for-me greed does present a particularly powerful visual.

Fat people can come across fine in public if they present a generous, friendly, happy personality.

Christie does not and never has. Basically he looks like the fatass in your college dorm room who always grabbed the last two pieces of pizza.

At least the cadaverous, malnourished-looking Paul Ryan exudes the look of starvation, while he's explaining why he thinks it would be a good idea for Grandma.

I could but never have voted for him. Still, he looks like every third gone to seed Dad in New Jersey. You can't say he doesn't fit in with his demo, at least in that way.

Kerry is an elected official, Michelle is an adult who is part of her husband's decision to run and knows the hate she will encounter, but bringing kids into it is the lowest of the low. Plus the idea of Michelle with Wolverine eyebrows is kinda sexy.

I think you might need to edit that a bit to be more consistent with your views. I might suggest you tack on a follow-up sentence such that this reads: "... happy personality. But if they're conservative or Republican, fuck 'em: They look like shit."

A week from today, I'm taking my daughter to my polling place to watch me participate in our democracy. She turns 4 on Veterans Day, and this will be the kiddo's first of many elections she will attend with me or the wife.

No matter who you support, if you can, take your child or children with you to vote. It's a lesson that lasts a lifetime.

Starman's in a different corner. He is our board's Charles Barkley if you ask me -- entertaining enough that he gets away with things that others don't. If o_t weren't so fucking stupid, he could probably earn that status too.

I suppose ripping on Christie's weight isn't my thing, maybe a snarky joke here and there, but the idea that it's the only physical trait that gets ripped is lunacy. The right is just all butthurt because nobody lets them make their jokes about the president's lips and monkeyface.
