I can certainly understand why Rick is a Liberal and a Democrat, I mean he lives and supports his family on a salary of $10,250 per year and still manages to save $250 per week.

Damn! Now I wish the DMR endorsed Obama:

    Howard Fineman ‏@howardfineman

New poll shows DMR endorsement in Iowa meant nothing -- maybe even hurt Romney. My full Tweeta Culpa to follow.

The turnout models don't come close to making sense in most cases because early voting is showing that Barack just isn't getting the early turnout he did four years ago. The Ohio Sec. of State numbers has Democratic early voting down well over 200,000 votes from this date four years ago with Romney up about 40,000. Virginia isn't any better as democratic turnout in highly democratic counties is down considerably. I don't see a +1 Republican turnout like several polls have predicted but nor do I see a plus-eight Dem model being close to accurate. If it ends up even +3 or +4 Dem many of the margins in these states are going to be razor thin.

Can you give me a good reason why Obama deserves one more day in office much less four more years, well, other than the other guy is rich?

I mean seriously if you are honest with yourself the guy has been a disaster as a president - and listening to his campaign he is utterly clueless and has no idea how to fix what ails us - other than "hey let's keep spending and handing out goodies and make the rich people pay more taxes"

I would have to go through the list to determine that but he is definitely somewhere in the bottom five.

And yes, he is black, but what the hell does that have to do with anything?

And I'll say this as well --

The fact that Obama has had to go 100 percent negative and attack Mitt Romney with the same old "he is a rich guy who will hook up his cronies and make women use coat hangers" nonsense throughout this campaign speaks volumes about how ineffective his first term really was.

I mean, this is Mitt freaking Romney who is one weakest candidates we have ever seen he is struggling to beat.

If Obama had just a few positive things to discuss and make the center of his campaign he could basically ignore Romney and run away with the victory.

Sort of like Bill Clinton in 1996 - do you remember his campaign? It was tremendously positive - talked about all the things his first term accomplished (even if he didn't deserve all the credit for some of it and some of it was bullshit), talked about all the ways America was moving in the right direction and he barely took swipes at Bob Dole because he didn't need to.

All I see - and I am in a battleground state - are commercials about what an evil man Mitt Romney is and how he is going to ruin the environment and cut taxes for his buddies and kick all the old ladies off of medicare.

Seriously, Obama has nothing to sell, nothing at all other than class warfare and the same old left-wing bullshit about how he's for the small people and his opponent is for the rich.

And this is a stark contrast to what he ran on in 2008, when he ran on a ticket of optimism and hope and a new direction for America and ran as a politician of change, a new kind of politician, a guy who got things done.

And even the most far away gone Kool Aid drinking liberal who is honest with himself can't deny this.

The correct term is Flavor Aid. Stop the over-the-top bullshit and work on a reel argument.

If you're for the out-of-touch race baiters, go ahead and vote against your interests.

old_tony called. He said to stop working his corners.

And Zag, I listed several positives about Obama on the voting thread. You can go over there if you want; I'm not bringing them over here. Of course, you'll find a way to make them into negatives, so what's the point?

We haven't seen that ad here.

And we won't. And that ad is the only one I've seen - and the only time I've heard - Obama try to talk about what has been accomplished.

And my favorite part of it is this -

    Here is my plan

"We're going to invest in Education"
    "Invest in Manufacturing"
    "Invest in American Energy"
    "Reduce the Deficit"

What the fuck does any of that mean? How are you going to do this? And what steps have you already taken to do this?

My God, this is the most empty-headed, clueless, dumb ass we have ever elected and that is saying something considering the last guy who held the office.
