Why focus on Benghazi then, when things that are taking place in our own country, especially regarding the economy, actually matter for the vast majority of Americans? Focusing on Benghazi is a wingnut approach, because arguments concerning gay marriage, abortion, and the economy aren't working for the wingnuts.

Unemployment is 11.7 percent in Las Vegas, yet Benghazi is the issue some editor chooses to write about?

Based on what? Israel's defense minister certainly doesn't think so.

“I can see long years, um, administrations of both sides of political aisle deeply supporting the state of Israeli and I believe that reflects a profound feeling among the American people. But I should tell you honestly that this administration under President Obama is doing in regard to our security more than anything that I can remember in the past.” - Ehud Barak

The whole "abandoning Israel" thing is such a hysterical, false position, supported by nothing other than anger fantasies.

Guess how long it took Bush to "travel to Israel as President?"

Seven years. You don't hear that fact thrown around much when the whining ignites every three days.

Another lamestream outlet late to the party. But they're getting there.

If CBS is lamestream, then the paper that hired you is a filthy rag. I know people, who are much better people than me, who work their asses off there. To have some lonely old man calling the news operation lame is particularly pathetic, especially coming from someone who works in the media.

Side note: A viable national third party would be more or less disastrous in our political system, as well as virtually impossible. The only way a third party could ever practically or usefully rise to prominence would be regionally to replace one of the major parties in an area where it is already more or less meaningless.

If you want a workable multi-party system, you have to redesign the entire democratic process from the ground up.

The Speaker of the House during the 34th Congress was from the Know Nothing Party, so there might be hope, right?

It's a scientific fact to some scientists. Other scientists have different conclusions. Even if there was a 100 percent consensus that global warming was happening, the reality is that any efforts to curb carbon emissions by the U.S. are useless unless China, India and Russia, to name a few, get on board. And they ain't doing it. All it does is hurt our economy.

That Valerie Jarrett quote can't be real. If it was real, she'd be lambasting Whitey.
