Oh, I agree with you. I have no interest in anything he has to say.

But, again, his value as an on-air talent isn't completely tied up in the accuracy of his predictions. He could predict that Gary Johnson is going to win, and they'd trot him back out on Wednesday like nothing ever happened. Silver's entire celebrity is premised upon being the voice of statistical reason. His mass appeal would not survive a Romney victory.

I sucked at math in school.

But still, my point stands. The poster who I was responding to said that a 25 cent an hour raise wouldn't be cost effective for a business. A 7 percent net profit loss for a $15 billion per year company isn't that much.

Even easier when we're talking about .0001 percenters like the Waltons!

Wal-Mart is a publicly owned company. Lots of people are part-owners of those profits, including many of the employees.

Former CNN reporter Amber Lyon is claiming she has proof the Obama administration paid CNN to run certain stories and delete certain stories, most notably an interview with Nick Robertson who interviewed Mohammed Al Zawahiri regarding the Egyptian uprising and it being a protest for the release of the Blind Shiek.

That sounds like a potentially amazing story, but I tried to skim that site and found it unreadable. I'll wait for someone else to pick it up before I get too intrigued.

No need to. Alex Jones is in the story and at the end there is a link to donate to the Romney campaign.

So we don't have to hear about him any more beginning Wednesday? Great!

That's all true. But Amber Lyon has a resume that has earned at least some level of credibility, and you can watch the interview to see her own words. She's at least a 6. Watching it now...

You know, we've barely talked about this, but the Florida polls of late sure aren't going Romney's way this week.

I don't know that I buy it, but... this thing will be over by 7 p.m. if Obama wins Florida.

I realize I have now angered the electoral gods with this post.
