    Couple of thoughts here:

    Can Romney really lose his "home states" of Massachusetts, Michigan and Wisconsin and still win? Maybe. I know New Hampshire is in play, but that should be another gimme for Romney; politically independent, saw him in action for four years in Massachusetts.

    I think Romney wins popular vote, exmediahack was right, he will own Obama in the Red States and that could suppress some dem turnout in those areas.

    I don't know how damaged the GOP brand is from W's legacy. The Tea Party swept into power just two years ago, a number of governorships are in Repub hands, the House isn't going anywhere and the senate will remain with the Dems, the Republicans will come within a hair of tying/regaining control.

    One interesting thing will be to see the battle between enthusiasm among Republicans for Romney versus GOTV efforts by the Democrats. Is it a wash? Or does one side get enough of a bump?

    I will be voting for Obama, but will be voting third party in some of the other races.

    Not going out on a limb here when I say we will wake up Wednesday morning and won't know who won.

    My state (Idaho) is certainly not in doubt for the electoral college.

    But, there is a hotly contested statewide school referendum ... the latest round in the national "get rid of bad teachers/reward good ones" or "bust the teachers' union" measures (depending on your point of view).

    Largely due to those school reform propositions, they're expecting 78 percent voter turnout in the Gem State:

    Can anyone from Mass (Gee?) explain why Warren is so ahead of Brown? National view of that race has been a toss-up but now I see it would be quite a surprise if Brown wins. Anything happen or is he just seen as a corporate toolbag?

    I think we'll know of an Obama victory before midnight Eastern.

    a) Let's not forget this is Ted Kennedy's seat;
    b) Warren is brilliant woman with a strong message;
    3) Let's not forget this Ted Kennedy's seat in the only state McGovern won, and
    3a) People in Massachusetts probably feel strongly about electing their first native American senator.

    But I'm from New York, so I'd also like to hear Gee's analysis, too.

    Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth has something to tell you guys. She's revoking your independence.

    Your new Prime Minister, David Cameron, will appoint a Governor for America without the need for further elections.

    Congress and the Senate will be disbanded. A questionnaire may be circulated sometime next year to determine whether any of you noticed.

    And we might let a couple of your teams in the CFL . :)

    If it means we get a six week election instead of the year-round campaigning g we have now, I approve.

    I'd settle for six months at this point, and obviously take six weeks.

    Seeing as the Browns are never going to win a Super Bowl - maybe they can get a Grey Cup!

    Not sure the Browns could even beat the Blue Bombers.

    Anyway, sorry for the intrusion. Carry on. ;)
