It's going to stay open until YOU flip. Then we'll know our work is done here.

So what does Romney do with his life after Tuesday? He's been running for president full-time for the last 6-8 years. Obviously he'll be just fine, but will be happy to just be the name on the door of some elite K Street boutique or consulting firm?

I'm nowhere near confident in a Romney victory. I'm hopeful, but realistic.

Obama probably wins. I think it will be close, but we could know early if a state like Virginia goes to Obama.

I think the polls are a little screwy. When Romney leads independents by anywhere from 7 to 22 points, it makes me think he can win. But, I'm not getting my hopes up.

I'd rather be pleasantly surprised than disappointed.

No, I don't mean who's going to win. I mean we're going to keep going until we see YankeeFan, champion of the poor, defender of government stimulus spending, lover of Maxine Waters. (OK not her lover, but, politically speaking.) Haven't we given you enough good objective information?

Funny. I was going to ask the same question about Obama.

If he loses, he can obviously make money with a book, and speaking engagements. But, does he join corporate boards? Found a non-profit? Join a law firm? Teach at a law school?

Does he move back to Chicago, or does he stay in DC? He has young kids, so their schooling and best interests would likely be a major factor in the decision.

Or maybe he fights Hillary for the '16 nomination.

Assuming that the lefty-er side of the board has written off ever converting me ...

Oh. I thought you might have meant that, but that's not going to happen.

I figure my cheery optimism, and arguments for personal and economic freedom will convert the rest of you to my side before you guys convert me.

Considering our side can't get you or MC to vote for the Republican nominee, I'd chalk you both up as lost causes.

It was amusing to tune in Fox News last night and see their Twitter crawl. The hosts were pushing the idea that PA was back in play, and the tweeps went a billion steps further, counted PA as a victory and decided their confidence about a Romney rout was at an all-time high.

I guess that's why o_t wasn't around last night, he was tweeting to Fox News.
