I don't believe you. I'm going with the guy who's basing his knowledge on a wikipedia entry.

So, can I assume you are "pro-choice" when it comes to whether or not joining a union should be a condition of employment?

If it's part of the contract or law that a new worker has to join a union to work somewhere, I'm with that. Without that, might as well get out the road grader and crush unions into nonexistence. That said, people have opted out of unions when allowed. Pretty stupid of them.

But that's right, I guss: businesses can form trade associations or whatever the hell they want, but if workers want to form unions....

As for all the exemptions, Prop. 32 spokesman Jake Suski says, "We're going as far as federal law allows, as far as constitutionally possible."

That sure sounds like a group that won't try to make use of a loophole exempting a hedge fund or LLC from this regulation, doesn't it?

    Why?

Honestly, wouldn't you be pissed if you were forced to join a union (or any organization), and fork over money to them, only to see them use it to support a candidate or cause you opposed?

    http://www.politifact.com/wisconsin/statements/2012/may/31/reince-priebus/voter-fraud-means-gop-candidates-wisconsin-need-do/

The task force found numerous problems in the voting process that could lead to fraudulent voting. The report concluded by saying the task force "believes that there was fraud committed in the 2004 election, but as one investigator stated, ‘I know I voted in the election, but I can’t be certain it counted.’"

Police Chief Edward Flynn distanced himself from the report, however, saying it contained the views of the investigators, not the department.

Nope. I'm not stupid enough to not see the big picture. My union could be donating to Romney, for all I care. And with that, I've said my peace. Not wasting any more countdown posts on this debate that was settled in the 1930s.

If enough people are pissed at the union's leadership, can't they vote to change it?

I'm asking you if you have a recent example of Democratic voter fraud.

    Apparently you do not.

    Look at the transcript:

So, when given the chance, the day after his Rose Garden comments, the President did not call it a terrorist attack.

I'm sure there's a good reason CBS held this until now.
