Yes, I remember reading that quote from Ben Franklin, one of the Founding Fathers the teabaggers love to channel because they know exactly what those guys were thinking 230-some odd years ago, about "Everybody do your own thing and act selfishly in your own self-interest, otherwise we'll all hang," or something like that, I ferget.

As for the Sandy disaster, Pat Robertson told me that it hit New Jersey especially hard as God's punishment for an infidel as the governor. Or something like that.

    I believe that's actually a valid question.

I guess it depends on what is considered a terrorist organization.

If a group engages in paramilitary operations, but also uses terror tactics -- say suicide bombs, or targeting women/children/civilians -- are they a terrorist organization?

And, let's face it, a Consulate isn't a military target, right? An Ambassador is a Civilian representative of a government, not a military presence.

Really, Ruck? A personal attack on why I back Romney? You're better than that.
The party of tolerance strikes again.

Just think how awful liberals will be the next time their guy loses an election. Probably won't happen tomorrow, but that just means at least four more years of building up anger, bitterness and hate.

Both sides love the "bootstraps" life story, except when their nominee was born with a silver spoon in their mouth.

No one seemed to mind that John Kerry acquired his wealth by marrying well -- twice.

Folks also love when their nominee is a war hero, except when he "loathes the military."

John Kerry never sold himself as a self-made man. Romney did, with your exhaustive efforts helping him here.

Barack Obama is apparently the only person ever to achieve things on his own.

I believe Jerome Corsi et al. were going to "golddig" Kerry but then they decided to Swift Boat him instead.

    Serious question, members and moderators.
Does anyone think the corrupt MSM would not be doing 24/7 Katrina comparisons - blocking out all other news - by trying to tie a current President to a catastrophic weather event on the eve of an election if he were a Republican?

"We have unnecessary terrorism on number 59, a blow to the head of a defenseless receiver. That's a 15-yard penalty from the spot of the terrorism and an automatic first down."

    Exmediahack ...

You happen to want your epitaph to read "he worked hard to reach his full potential."

Someone else may want his epitaph to read, "he helped a lot of people."

I think the world need both those types and more.

It seems to me that many conservatives want everyone to aspire to your epitaph, or go to hell.
