Well they're alreadly accusing the GOP of cheating on election day and we're not even fucking there yet.

What else do you expect from an intellectually bankrupt political party?

Newpaper endorsements and union support of specific candidates are not even in the same universe.

If Romney wins, it'll be interesting to see how much Benghazi reporting there is, especially with Fox.

Sure they are. The point that YF made was that unions may support candidates that their members may not support. Through endorsements, newspapers may support candidates that their workers may not support. Same difference.

I think you're missing an important point here: Why should you be forced, as a condition of your employment, to contribute financially to politicians and/or causes you don't personally support? If you're OK with that, fine, but let's be clear what we're talking about here. And if you are OK with that, then I would assume you'd be OK with your employer holding back a bit of your paycheck to make that whole contributing thing a bit easier.

I'm looking for a valid comparison here.

Your employer doesn't require you to give them money to spend on politicians and political issues.

You're compensated for your labor. It's a fair exchange. You are no more entitled to have a say in how they spend their money, than they are to have a say in how you spend your money.

Baron, the difference is money. I'm surprised an economics expert like yourself doesn't understand that.

They do have a say in how we spend our money. Pity my last day is Election Day. I would have liked to donate to Obama.
