Well, not a presidential year, but it'd be cool because it gets so much attention and it's a nice notion and all. But CNN is already melting down like Chernobyl that -- OH MY GOD! IT'S A TIE! FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER! WHAT DOES IT MEAN??!! AND THE INDEPENDENTS!! THEY BROKE FOR OBAMA!! IS THIS A GOOD SIGN FOR HIM??!!

    Stop. Please.

We went on a couple of extended family vacations there, about 20 years apart. Dinner was extremely formal and paced -- about a 2-hour endeavor. Golf courses were nice. Rangers on the championship course were fascists.

Detroit has a better record than Dallas, Philadelphia, Washington, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Carolina, Arizona or St. Louis.

    Try again.

No fake. I dropped off my ballot on Saturday. It gets worse and worse every cycle. And just think, in four years -- no incumbent. Wheeee!!!

Either way, the whining is going to be epic.

Got my umbrella ready for Wednesday, when the sky is sure to be falling.

Sick of it? Why do you people hate fun?

I posted it earlier, but today's xkcd.com just absolutely nailed it.

Look - four more years of Obama WILL destroy the currency!
All you got to remember tomorrow when you vote is $16T - what the consequences of that figure are going to mean for us in old age.
    Not to mention our children.

Well, sick of the ads. Sick of the Facebook posts. Election night itself? Love it. Love seeing how things unfold. Will miss being in a newsroom this time around (but glad I won't be in one that had a round of applause ring through when the last one was called, like I was in an LSU press box with Bobby Hebert in charge).

dude, i like politics and the ebb and flow of it all. but fox has created a whole new creature of voter, a voter who used to shut their fucking mouths because they knew they were idiots. now they are empowered thanks to fox and have taken it to the lowest level.
