    Re: THE 2012 POLITICS THREAD

Just walked the dog down the street to the polling place to see what it's like. Asked someone coming out and she said it was a half-hour wait. Hearing of hour-plus waits in critical Jefferson County.

We have two weeks of early voting here, plus there's mail-in. In fact, I read 70 percent of the vote is already in and we should have the bulk of results at 7:15 p.m. MST. Purportedly.

Fox News has a talking head explaining the uptick in polling that shows more Americans believe we're on the "right track." She says it's because most Americans believe Romney will be president and they've figured that into their response to pollsters.

Like Joe, but he's going to be very disappointed in 2016 when he discovers his 77-year-old butt isn't part and parcel of the body holding service ticket #1 in the DemNom Deli line. The old boy's going to have to wait for others to decline.

Gee, I wasn't aware the distribution of crack was that widespread.

The hits just keep on coming.

This day's going to be funnier than Blazing Saddles, before we're done.

    I, too, pulled on Johnson.

In an unrelated matter, Romney needs a small miracle to have a chance

I imagine he probably understands that, rationally.

I suppose as a guy who was a front-runner at one point in his life, 24 years ago now, that he just wants to leave this mortal coil knowing he left it all on the floor.

Talk about being un-American. If people like Ryan and Cantor were in charge of this country they could cause a revolution.

    ***UPDATE***
Drudge is reporting early Ohio returns show Romney already with 92,000 vote lead.

At his age, I'd imagine he's closer to "leaving it all on the floor" than he realizes.

    Re: THE 2012 POLITICS THREAD

Peggy Noonan, citing rock solid evidence - campaign rally video from the news, as well as gossippy scuttlebutt from Ohio that there are a lot of Romney signs in yards - predicts a Romney victory.
