I'll skip the debates as always. I've never found them particularly edifying and would never base a vote (or have it influenced by) on a series of debate performances.

It's almost as funny as Joe Scarborough actually thinking he's presidential timber.

Rove and Hunchback Dick Morris are the champs of going through life in this mode.

Take a look at the Right Track/Wrong Track numbers:

Now, tell me people aren't open to voting for someone else.

This is a choice election now. The referendum went out the door the minute Ryan became the VP nominee.
Right track/wrong track is just not enough on its own, especially when the minute details from the challenger make many people think it will be worse with his plan.

You actually have to show yourself to be a real alternative, with your own ideas and agenda that you aren't afraid to lay out to the voting public in detail. Banking your prospects merely on voting out the other guy is just not enough. Call it the Kerry Rule.

The Republican Party has never been an alliance of various constituencies, like the Democrat party is.

We're not going to pander to Latino voters or single women.

What we need to do is to preach, and sell the Conservative message. Conservatism empowers all Americans.

Ronald Reagan said, "Latinos that they are Republicans; they just don't know it yet."

And, folks like Marco Rubio will help convince them.

I don't disagree. Hopefully, Romney can convince some folks -- beginning tonight -- that he is a real alternative.

If he does, he can win the election.

This is really an incredibly dumb response.

Right track/wrong track is not a question about the president. "Who will you vote for in the presidential election" is a question about the president. Find a poll that leaves any indication that there is a wide swath of undecided voters out there.

Any particular reason why you say "Democrat" party instead of "Democratic"?

Because you point it out, so he knows it bothers you. I've just come to mock him for it.
