Lehrer with a zinger: "Way over two minutes."

Where he actually rattled off five points?

It might have been a little long, but he was making points, not rambling.

It wasn't his place to rattle off five points. He was asked if he had a question for Obama. At no point did he ask a question.

Well, Willard said he had a plan. Now we know what it is.

    1) Defund Big Bird.
    2) Get rid of SS/MC.
    3) Huge tax cuts for the 0.000001 Percent.
    4) Huge services cuts for everybody else.

    WINNING

Eh, Obama didn't answer the first question either.

That doesn't offend me so much. I think it's a good strategy.

All the businessmen who want to be politicians say never to raise taxes. Do they never raise prices at their shop to pay the bills?

He's done it before. "You're going to ask what you want, and I'm going to answer whatever I want."

Also, this is so fucking boring. At no point has either one of them really scored a point. Because Lehrer sucks.

Supposedly for the best part of the last week Willard's staff has been cooking up killer 'zingers' with which to overwhelm Obama.

So didn't they come up with any?

Romney is more competent than I expected, but it doesn't matter. 51% of people have already made up their mind for Obama and he's not selling anyone new.

You do if you can. But, the market determines whether or not you're actually going to get the higher price.

    Taxes don't work that way.

You are correct. But no one can run a business with an ironclad rule that prices never go up. Why think that government is less complicated than business?
