St. Louis archdiocese marketing director posts Facebook update last night: "Mormons: 1. Indonesians: 0."

I am starting to understand how Todd Akin can still be in that Senate race.

It's amazing how often supporters are convinced their candidate can win the debate just by saying the things they already like to hear.

He's not there to win you over.

Statistic of note: Nielsen says the debate had a total audience of 58 million. If either candidate gets 58 million votes on November 6, they will almost surely lose, as total vote in 2008 was over 125 million.

I think there's plenty in there to sway undecideds to Obama.

Going back to my own turf:

Obama's in a technically won but difficult K+P+R vs. K+R endgame, and Romney has to do an incredible job to salvage half a point as black and try to win the armageddon tiebreaker.

Sesame Street already has grouches living in trash cans. Not many more cuts it can take.

Either the country worked just fine for the first 78 years as you claimed when saying it worked just fine for the first 137 years, or it didn't work fine for the first 137 years. Which is it?

Most people already in the can for a certain candidate usually feel that there is plenty to sway people to their candidate, if only the "TRUTH!!!!" could get out.

Obama has three connected two different ways, and Romney needs to block one and hope Obama misses the other before going for his own Connect Four.

And the people who actually watched this incredibly tedious programming were 99.9 percent decided voters who are actually interested in politics. I watched about 20 minutes and wouldn't have watched that much if the Yankees game hadn't been such a blowout.
