    I've seen social media posts and heard comments from men who say they've never known any woman to be funny, and I just feel sorry for them. I can't imagine going through life and thinking that. Some of the most brilliant insights and social commentary in comedy are by women (although because much of it is biting wit about men, I can see why some men wouldn't get or like the joke).

    My mother-in-law regularly uses "funny" as a replacement for "odd" or "out of the ordinary" or for something that doesn't make sense to her.

    Drives me fucking nuts.
