Are any of these local casinos any good? I went to one in Gary, Indiana and it was a complete dump.

Some are better than others. The Ameristar in Vicksburg that @Woody Long referenced still has a decent number of table games, which are usually a good barometer for casino quality. They've invested in the property, too, and been there a long time.
Some of the other casinos in that town have a couple of token blackjack or craps tables and the rest is slots. Others, you're hard-pressed to find anything but slots. I've been to a few during all-night blackjack benders where I've thought, "This is where gambling trips go to die."

You can't bet in-state colleges in Virginia, nor are there any player props available for college sports here.

Today's giant middle finger goes to the Syracuse Orange, who led by 20 for almost the entire game until they couldn't somehow cover a 4.5 adjusted spread and won by three, killing a parlay that otherwise hit. It's because that cantankerous fuckface Boeheim was in the stands. Asshole.

If someone tells you, "I'm betting adjusted lines on Syracuse games in February", don't be surprised if the next thing they say is "I may need to get some help."

C'mon man. My $10 loss isn't hurting anyone. But Boeheim is still a twat.

Random question. What was the limit for placing bets with a bookie? I can't imagine they wanted to handle a bunch of $11 bets

Threw $10 on the Reds over the Guardians in the spring training opener today. Enjoyed watching Cincy shut them out.

Until I logged in to see I actually bet on the Guardians.

Knowing that I used to stagger my schedule for soccer betting on Fridays:

    7 am Israeli leagues
    9 am Romanian/Czech leagues
    11:45 am Belgium
12:30 pm-1 pm Major Euro leagues
    5 pm Brazil/Argentina
    8/10 pm: Mexico MX
3 am: Aussie/Korea/Japan leagues (the Hawai’i get out games of soccer)

Used to get my alarms for 20 minutes before to check for bad lines I could arb.

    Competition problem.
