That appears to be what will happen, yes. Fire and Ice.

Bran's of the North. My guess is his ability to warg into a dragon wouldn't be very strong -- especially not dragons that are psychically connected to Dany, who gave birth to them.

I am pretty sure most of the Stark kids can only warg into their direwolves. Bran's the only one we ever see warg into anything else.

    Hope that helps.

I think the show missed a real shot of doing something cool by having Rob warg into his wolf, see Ayra and worg back to his body to tell his mother and die before he can get the words out.

Got a dollar that says the Lady Stoneheart is in the season finale.

The ease of taking over an animal's body varies with the will of an animal. I imagine if some run of the mill skinchanger tried to warg into a dragon, then he'd either figuratively or probably literally find his mind burned into nothingness.

A greenseer *might* be able to do it, but even then I wouldn't be surprised if they couldn't.

Walder Frey's place among the most despised villains of all time is cemented, right?

Honest question: Why do people think this show is artful? It's like a TV version of Caligula, which was reviled in its time, mashed up with a medieval times card game. It's violent and it's hilariously lurid. If folks just want to get their rocks off, I guess I get it. But seemingly intelligent people vouch for the quality of the enterprise. Is it because it appears on HBO?

    Caligula? Come on.

The sexposition, especially in the first season, could seem kind of gratuitous, but I thought it was a good way to keep viewers from mentally tuning out during long speeches giving background on stuff people didn't know would be important later on. The sex and violence is over the top sometimes, but it's an interesting story. Maybe not classic literature they'll be teaching in English classes, but kind of like Harry Potter for adults.

Sounds more like a personal problem. You can't get past the things you find offensive to see how well done the show is.

There are so many little moments. The one I keep coming back to is when Jaime Lannister was held prisoner and once again called an oathbreaker. He gives this great speech about the way the oaths he has taken conflict with one another. Sure, he shoved a little boy out a window to try to hide the incestuous relationship he has with his sister, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a point.

And that final scene last night, of the former slaves chanting 'Mhysa' (mother) and Daenerys being lifted by the crowd, both physically and otherwise, and the arms winding out like the petals of a flower. Art.

I posted this in the other tread, but the exchange between everyone in the Small Council meeting with Joffrey set up Joffrey's demise quite nicely. The exchange between Tywin and Tyrion might have been one of the best scenes of the season. Then, Cersei all but resigning the fact that something drastic needed to be done about Joffrey was well played.

I was thinking they're setting up the "who was behind his death?" mystery nicely.

Right now, it sure seems like just about anyone could have be responsible.
