I think it was Marilu Henner. Who also has the strange ability to remember what she did almost every day of her life.

Especially since, unless the player was focused on one of the main prizes at the end they had to accumulate like $700 to win all the prizes on the stage, which were likely going to change by the time the player hit that number and then had to accumulate over $800 to win all the prizes and the big case of money. You usually need like 9 or 10 wins to hit that number.

Always take the cash and try to get it back in the speed round.

That show still comes on Buzzr and it's still great.

If Canada had a Mount Rushmore-type attraction Perry would be on it. he hosted three classics: Definition (killer theme song, Quincy Jones's "Soul Bossa Nova"), Headline Hunters and Eye Bet, which didn't last long due to production costs, but which showed contestants a clip from a movie and then asked a random question like, "What was the time on the clock on the wall?"

And Summer Bartholomew, great googly moogly.....

I’d take old school What’s My Line? or I’ve Got a Secret over To Tell The Truth.

    My Name Is ...
Will the real ... please stand up.

these lines might not resonate today, but for generations those lines were some of the most iconic lines uttered in TV history.

If "What's My Line?" - then John Daly.

If "I've got a Secret" - then Garry Moore.

If "To Tell The Truth" - then Bud Collyer.

If "Truth or Consequences" - then Ralph Edwards.
