    "I like big tits"
An actual listing that made the sports agate at decent-size metro.

Is that what you mean Coffee?

What's wrong with that? Too obvious?

Wrong teams, stations and cable networks misidentified or just flat-out wrong, things like that.

Well, while the elites are all over at another thread sipping lattes and feting Lisa Olson and slapping each other on the backs, for the rest of you ordinary schmucks stuck in the evil empire and worried about paying your bills, here it goes again, posted today and developing:

To add detail, big cuts rumored coming in February.

Lotsa luck. Godspeed to all of 'ya. So damn glad I left this business five years ago in June and bought a ticket for the left coast.

This company, once considered the future hope of journalism, is now an utter joke. Sympathy to all of you who are imprisoned by it.

I'm happy for Lisa, and I do enjoy the occasional cappucino. Can I be a quasi-elite?

I also know a few people who got whacked at GCI shops, and worry about the friends who remain there. Another 10 percent? Seriously?

Anyone have any insight into "Content One?" It sounds like Gannett is going to be trying out the USA TODAY inside the locals on a small scale with the Inauguration.

So how's that working out for you in the trailer with the Firebird?

Some Gannett dailies, I've heard, have cut their sections in half. Some have only an 'A' and 'B' section. Others aren't even running classified ads on all days.

"But you're still getting just as much!"

    Pathetic.

8 page insert the sunday before inauguration. Local newspapers can take out national news for local news as they please. Gannett will also be rolling out a monster web page for every site they have so they can sell advertising as one big package.

Oh and they will be pimping mugs, and hats, and t-shirts with the commemorative front page on it.
