It's just an opinion. I base it on the bible. Why is that an issue??????

There are lots of "sins." But this one seems to be tolerated much less by Christians than others for some reason.

I agree. No one is perfect including myself. Good thought. Don't know why it's less tolerated.

ESPN.com's Mary Buckheit, who is gay, weighs in with a Hardaway-themed column that's, well, kind of all over the place. But she's a sports writer and she's gay, so if you're still wondering if gay sports writers are like Big Foot or the Loch Ness Monster, here is evidence they exist and hold (relatively) high profile jobs.

And scribe21, just so you know, it would be weird to see you get roses from a woman at the office. And it would be weird to see you holding hands and kissing somone in public. But that's just my opinion.

And that's why we don't make social policy based on what some people feel is "weird," or based on words that were translated and mistranslated from Aramaic to Greek (or Hebrew) then to English (or Italian or French), and then recorded in a book that wasn't even written a hundred-plus years after Jesus died, by people who didn't even know him, and who threw out half the stuff they didn't like.

Didn't it say not to covet thy neighbor's ass? Does God need to draw you a picture or something?

This is hilarious, mostly because I say the same things about guys I work with.

And Scribe, why is it any weirder to see a gay couple holding hands and kissing than a pair of heteros?

They both bug me in most situations. I'm of the "get a room already" crowd.

The medical field is different though, that's so...clinical. Locker rooms are not clinical. They are often, like someone said, a living room. Sure, we do our jobs in that living room, and yes we're professional, but it's totally different than a medical setting.

Ace, are you really Jerry Seinfeld? You're on fire on this thread.

Both medical offices and locker rooms are ... professional.

Therefore, they are not very different, in that sense.
