Meet the new “Fantastic Four”:“ ”Pedro Pascal leads next Marvel movie

 

Those seem like underwhelming choices

 

An Emmy winner (EMB), a multiple Emmy nominee (Pascal), an Oscar nominee (Kirby), and probably the favorite new character from the most recent season of a huge Netflix show (Quinn). I think they did pretty well, especially on the heels of people like Ayo and Steven Yeun dropping out of other Marvel projects. I also think it would have been a mistake if they just cast "Most Famous People Possible," which is part of how we got some disastrous past FF casting, like Jessica Alba.

 

I've seen people trash the Wicked trailer that was shown during the Super Bowl - particularly the CGI. Considering the movie(s) wrapped production about a month ago and the CGI gets tweaked up to just a few weeks before release - and its not dropping for another nine months - I'm sure it will be fine. Though I did think it odd that you wouldn't even know it was a musical by the trailer.

 

I think the strangest part of "Wicked" trailer is Ariana Grande. She just looks kind of odd as that character, and with bleach blonde hair and eyebrows.

I'm sure Michael Fassbender can be a great villain in the Highlander reboot, but why have a white dude play a character known as The Mongul?
