The first trailer for Superman dropped today. There are some clear James Gunn touches, like trying to make Krypto a thing. Of course, Sean Gunn and Nathan Fillion are in it. Casting Alan Tudyk seems to fit, too, though no word yet on who he is playing.

 

Excellent review of the new Dylan biopic with Chalamet.

A lot goin' on there, but looks good! I'm not a big Superman guy, but I'm way more into that than any of the Snyder stuff, or Superman Returns before it.

 

I’m sure I’ll see it. But I’m not sure Superman really works as a character any longer.

Has there ever been a Lex Luthor origin story done? Seems like it would hit bigger. Aside from Smallville of course.

 

The original Lex Luthor storyline was that Superboy blew out a lab fire that broke out during one of Lex's experiments, and it took out his hair. So Lex plotted revenge for the rest of his life. Was not cool to be bald back in the day. Basically Lex was worried he'd be an incel.
