Never confuse a liberal with facts.

  2. Gee, the editor of the Muslim cartoon paper and a hack from business school whom Scientific American pretty much wrapped up in a sack here.

Read it all, even if your lips get tired.
Stop going to Rush for your humor (algore. Heh-heh. Funny if you're on Oxy, I guess) and to Glenn Beck for your science.
By the way, who were those people on the other side that you studied? Clock's still ticking, foof.

Yawn and Old_Tony remind you that any shortness of breath you or your children may experience is simply the price you pay for Playstation 3, microwave popcorn and Freedom.

Another classic shift because you can't win the present debate. Now the debate is about shortness of breath? C'mon. You can be a little less transparent than that. Or maybe you can't?

How, exactly, do you win a debate when both sides are so inflexible they can't admit that maybe, just maybe, the other side might have a point?

Hey it's pretty cold here in the Northeast. The weather forecasters say it may snow tonight!

I gather two things rather quickly from your post: First, you're against freedom of the press seeing as you think the editor publishing the cartoons that Muslims rioted over means the guy is discredited. Second, Al Gore is a helium-weight. After all, you claim the other guy is a hack. If he is, Gore should have looked forward to taking him apart. Instead, he was afraid to be challenged by them. What does that make Gore?

And you want to talk about agendas? Since it's been purchased by a German holding company in 1986, Scientific American has been neither Scientific nor American.

BTW, Fenian, unhooked your furnace yet? Sold your car? Unhooked your electric? You're right, the clock is ticking, and every second it ticks makes you more of a hypocrite.

You present a good point, Inky. Yet I note the side that says there is global warming and it's our fault continues to drive their cars, run their furnaces and use a boatload of electricity that requires power plants to keep doing what they're doing.

  9. Who have you read that agrees with Al Gore on global warming? You said you have. Clearly, I've read your guys, and their critics, and found them wanting. Who've you read? C'mon, foof, I asked you last week.
And the slur on SA is embarrassing even by your standards.

How do you know they aren't taking steps to cut down on their carbon footprint?

  11. Because he can't keep his knee from jerking long enough to ask.

Well, first off they're spending a lot of time here, which means electricity for a non-essential activity. Second, they get so worked up about global warming that when they spew their trash they exhale more CO2 than normal. I'll be exhaling more than normal in a little while when I go out to shovel the 4 inches of global warming. We haven't had a temperature near the normal high here in three weeks and we've been nearly more than 20 degrees below normal for a good portion of it.

When it's warmer than normal, the GW fanatics point to it as a sure sign of GW. When it's colder than normal, the skeptics are called flat-earthists if they mention the "anecdotal" fact that it's colder than normal in relation to the GW debate.
