Once Old_Tony disabled the emission controls on his car, his morning commute was a cinch.

What question did you pose? I've gone back to the previous page and see no question from you.

You're right. Earth will be fine. And it will not be inhabitable for humans. In fact it will probably be more habitable.

If you think tires have anything to do with emissions, no wonder you're on the global warming side.

Wait, wait. So you're saying that the opinion of hundreds of scientists from 113 countries doesn't "mean shit"? Don't you think they took the natural cooling/heating cycles into account?

I can't answer every one of those 10 MIT professor's questions. You know why? Because I'm not smart enough when it comes to global warming. I admit that. But when hundreds of scientists tell me one thing, I am smart enough to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I wish I had a high enough opinion of myself to believe that I was right, and hundreds of Phds were wrong.

It's those fucking Danish and Swedish scientists who are screwing around with the numbers because they want to destroy the American economy.

Apparently it is those Danish and Swedish (and a whole lot of other) "scientists" lying.

Did any of you know that the global temperature has actually gone down slightly since 1998?

A pretty good read here, although I'm sure the intolerant left will call him a nazi or a flat-earth guy.

  8. Gee, the editor of Scaife's toy newspaper in Pittsburgh.
Why would I consider him a hack?

    Uh, no.

If he can't get this simple fact right, it certainly calls the credibility of his other information into question. (There's no farming in Greenland today? None?)

And the 1998 reference is intellectual dishonesty at its finest. Sure, take one of the warmest recorded years in the history of the planet and use that to make a case that the Earth is actually cooling. Using that logic, Peyton Manning threw for 160 fewer yards this season than his career-high of 4,557 in 2004, so he must suck.

The other five warmest years on record? 2001-05, with 2005 breaking the record of 1998. So that blows your '98 argument out of the water.

I couldn't quickly find 2006 data, but here's an indication on how that year went:

But it's snowing a lot in Indiana today, so Al Gore and 99 percent of the scientific community are frauds.

  11. Because he doesn't really read the literature. He reads what his favorite columnists and radio hosts write or say about the literature and parrots it back here. Prima facie: he said he was as widely read on my side of the "debate" as on his own and he still hasn't cited a single thing he's read that disagrees with what he posts here.
Right now, he's googling "Lindzen and 1930s'" to respond to you. You can hear him out there.

Hey Fennie, how's about talking to your liberal buddies in the Northeast today about global warming? If it gets out of control, you can always bring in Cindy Sheehan to stir up a little Bush-bashing warmth.
